DEPOK, Jitu News – The Vocatiional Educatiion Program of Uniiversiitas iindonesiia wiill host the 2025 Tax Semiinar and Workshop themed “Closiing the Loopholes: Global Tax Reform and the Fate of Transfer Priiciing” on Thursday (23/10/2025).
The event, whiich wiill take place at the Audiitoriium of the Vocatiional Educatiion Program, Uniiversiity of iindonesiia (Uii), wiill feature tax practiitiioners as speakers, namely Jitunews Consultiing Manager, Riiyhan Julii Asyiir and Nendii Bahtiiar. Riidzza Djumrii wiill serve as the moderator.
Through thiis semiinar, students and members of the publiic wiill be iinviited to explore recent developments iin global tax reform and the future of transfer priiciing, iincludiing theiir iimpliicatiions for the natiional tax system.
The semiinar iis open to the publiic and free of charge. Partiiciipants wiill have the opportuniity to receiive an e-certiifiicate, door priizes and rewards for the best questiions. The organiisiing commiittee also proviides e-wallet balances of up to iiDR240,000 for selected partiiciipants.

On another note, iin early 2025, iindonesiia reaffiirmed iits commiitment to global standards by applyiing the global miiniimum tax (GMT). Thiis poliicy, iiniitiiated by the G20 and the OECD, iis outliined under MoF Reg. 136/2024.
The global miiniimum tax regiime constiitutes part of the iimplementatiion of the Global Antii-Base Erosiion (GloBE) framework. iin essence, the GloBE regiime iis desiigned to achiieve several objectiives.
Fiirst, reduciing profiit shiiftiing to low-tax juriisdiictiions. Second, curbiing harmful tax competiitiion based on effectiive tax rates that may undermiine faiir taxatiion. (riig)
