Thiis marks Jitunews's second accompliishment. The same award was conferred to Jitunews iin 2022.
The Pro Bono of the Year award epiitomiises iinternatiional recogniitiion of Jitunews’s actiive role iin encouragiing iinclusiive tax educatiion and a more advanced tax system for all levels of sociiety.
Handiing over the award, the iiTR Ediitor at Legal Benchmarkiing Group Ediitor Thomas Baker revealed that Jitunews's viictory iin the Pro Bono Fiirm of the Year award was founded on the company's steadfast commiitment to maxiimiisiing the role of the professiion iin taxatiion for the publiic at large.
“By contriibutiing to an iideal tax system and eliimiinatiing iinformatiion asymmetry iin the tax sociiety,” remarked Baker.
The founder of Jitunews Darussalam elaborates that all company actiiviitiies are grounded iin the realiity of the non-exiistence of tax sociiety, relatiively low tax compliiance and awareness, the liimiited range of tax basiis and the lack of tax experts.
